Retreat at Ayrlies Garden

Date of Event: Saturday, 20th May 2017
Venue: Seminar room, Ayrlies.
Saturday May 20th 2017.
9.15am (for 9.30 start) – 4.00pm
The day will be lead by Rev. Elizabeth Farrands with the support of the Finding a Still Centre team.

As you move onward after Easter you may find a deepening desire within yourself for a closer relationship with God.
Perhaps you find yourself experiencing a ‘dry’ place in your spiritual journey and seek a greater sense of true inner freedom.
To take time apart as Jesus often did can help us reflect, find nourishment and renewal.
The day will have a simple structure of reflective material, time for personal reflection, silence, prayer and time together as community. We will draw upon the Four Desert Questions, (from the wisdom of the desert Mother’s and Father’s of the fourth Century), to reflect prayerfully on our lives and journey in God.
The garden will be open to us throughout the day. Please bring a small plate of food for a shared lunch, and writing materials. Tea and coffee provided. You are invited to offer a koha on the day, for Liz’ preparation, time and leadership.
