Scott Malcolm

Priest Assistant
Scott is married to Janet and they have four grown up children and two beautiful grandchildren.
Scott was born in Auckland, moved to Ruawai, Whangarei, Invercargill, Dunedin and Ruakaka all before starting high school. After finishing high school Scott worked as a Plan Clerk, Trades Assistant, Houseman, Bush fire fighter, Tea Boy, Lagger, Trainee Welder and Gardeners Labourer. During this time he met Janet and they married and in 1984 they set off to live in Auckland where Scott studied for the Baptist ministry.
After Baptist College Scott became the Senior Minister at Ashburton Baptist Church and then Ponsonby Baptist in Auckland. Scott finished at Ponsonby in 2004, and went to work for the Department of Corrections as a Programme Facilitator and Probation Officer. He moved to Springhill Corrections Facility as a Prison Chaplain in 2010 and felt the call to the Anglican ministry. He was ordained a Deacon in July 2015 and started at All Saints in September of that same year.
The journey has been a great one, a fulfilling, life enhancing movement in the hands of a loving and caring God. Scott enjoys the privilege of speaking with people about all sorts of things: rugby, cricket and spirituality.
