Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of All Saints Anglican Church, Howick will be held at the Church on: Sunday, 1 March 2026 at11:00 am.
Nominations are now open for the following positions:
• Parish Council (Vestry)
• Church Warden
The consent of the person being nominated must be obtained before a nomination is made.
Each nomination must be proposed and seconded by two parishioners*
*A parishioner is an individual whose name has been recorded on the Parish Roll for a period exceeding six months.
Nominations close at 3:00 pm on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
Completed nomination forms should be returned to the All Saints Office.
About Vestry (Parish Council) Membership
• Vestry members are elected annually at the AGM. Those nominated are expected to:
• Be reasonably regular attenders at worship
• Be willing to sign a Declaration of Adherence and Submission to the authority of the Constitution of The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
Vestry currently meets on the second Wednesday of each month, from 7:00 pm to approximately 8:30–9:00 pm.

Vestry members commit to:
• Working together as a team, discussing issues openly and honestly
• Keeping the details of discussions confidential, while sharing and supporting agreed decisions
• Coming to meetings prepared, having read the papers provided
• Following up promptly on tasks undertaken, and not taking on responsibilities beyond available time or skills
Wardens
The Churchwardens, one appointed by the Vicar and one elected by the parishioners, serve as the lay leaders of the parish.
They carry additional responsibilities, including:
• Employment matters
• Oversight of staff
• Support of the clergy
