Madeleine Xiao – piano
Praised for her ‘impassioned virtuosity’ and ‘glowing, soulful melodies’ (NZ Herald), Madeleine Xiao is one of New Zealand’s most exciting and sought-after young pianists. Recently graduating with first class honours at the University of Auckland with BMus(Hons) she will begin her Masters in London in September at the Royal Academy of Music on scholarship. Her programme includes the Bach-Busoni Chaconne and music by Beethoven and Liszt.
