Allure Trio
The unusual combination of clarinet, viola and piano creates alluring sonority, timbre, and atmosphere. Mozart is credited with composing the first work ever of its kind, followed by Schumann, Reinecke, and Bruch. Allure Trio presents the first two works of this wonderful instrumentation. Vivian Chen – clarinet, Francisca Carlos – viola, and Paul Lee – piano. Mozart was one of the first composers to give a prominent place to the clarinet which undoubtedly encouraged the instrument’s popularity.
