This special recital offers a rare opportunity to experience Dr Smith’s exceptional artistry in a beautiful and historic setting. Celebrating both his musical mastery and the rich tradition of the church’s historic organ, the performance will be a fitting tribute to the heritage and enduring significance of this beloved Howick landmark.

Supporting the Preservation of a Local Treasure

Established in 1847, the Historic Church is a treasured taonga of Howick, rich in stories, memories, and community pride. As we work towards opening its doors more regularly to the public, it is essential that we ensure the safety and security of both the building and its visitors.

Funds raised from this recital will help support the installation of security cameras, an important step in safeguarding this remarkable heritage site for future generations.
