Refugee Sunday
Each year, the Anglican Church marks Refugee Sunday as a time to remember, pray for, and stand in solidarity with refugees and displaced people around the world. It is an opportunity for us as a faith community to reflect on God’s call to show compassion, hospitality, and justice to those seeking safety and a new beginning.
We invite all members of our parish to join us in observing Refugee Sunday on Sunday, 5 July. This year, we are honoured to welcome a special guest speaker:
Dr Malik Khurram
CEO, HOPE Worldwide Pakistan
A humanitarian organisation dedicated to poverty eradication
Dr. Khurram will share insights from his work serving vulnerable communities, offering a first-hand perspective on the challenges faced by refugees and those living in poverty, as well as stories of hope and transformation.
Please come along to hear this inspiring message, deepen your understanding, and explore how we can respond in faith and action.
All are warmly invited to attend.
