The Eco Group was delighted to host the Composting Basics Workshop on Saturday, 29 August 2026, at Haseler Hall. Led by Ali Bostanabad, Environmental Chemist and Master of Philosophy from Massey University, the engaging session introduced attendees to three simple composting systems and practical ways to turn food and garden waste into a valuable resource. We were thrilled with the excellent turnout, and the enthusiastic participation from attendees made the event a great success. Guests also enjoyed light refreshments and the opportunity to connect with others interested in sustainable living.
